Assist
people to meet their basic needs i.e.… food, shelter, utilities, and personal
needs when through no fault of their own they do not have the means to do so for
themselves (always done with direct payment to vendor, never cash; may be done
with a voucher system). During the interview process may have them prove
through documentation that it is no fault of their own.
Cass

Board of Supervisors. General Assistance can also assist and if the individual
has upcoming expected change resources, the county can make them sign a
repayment agreement to pay the county back the money. This office does not pay
